I have always favored the use of discount window blinds over heavy curtains for as long as I can remember. In our house, I quietly rejoiced when my mom bought Custom Blinds Faux Wood to replace the heavy fabric that adorned our windows. For me, curtains are heavy, dust magnets, expensive and difficult to clean. Imagine a set of heavy curtains in a washing machine. Sometimes, it would not even fit. Based on my experience, a window blind is easy to clean, elegant, inexpensive and a space saver. In cleaning blinds, a vacuum cleaner is the best method but not necessary. A piece of cloth or a special cleaning tool that may come with the blind will serve just as fine. A window also requires a single blind. It doesn’t have the downtime of a curtain since it has no laundry need. And should one decides to change the color of his walls, he will be spared from having to let go of an entire stock of expensive curtains that has suddenly become useless.
A blind, though cheaper than curtains, can still some a lot more easy on the budget. Yes, there are a lot of cheap blinds in the market today.
