In this time where outsourcing is taking the business world by storm, let us examine the benefits that it actually brings to business entities. Let us take for example, outsourcing companies engaged in answering services. If you are a small company, outsourcing to an answering services company enables you to save on the salary of fulltime telephone operators, telephone bills, equipment, corresponding benefits, training, insurance, taxes, office space, utilities and many other fulltime and variable expenses. It is either you pay the outsourcing firm the fixed monthly costs for every operator that they employ for you, or pay them a pre agreed amount for every call that they answer for you, or it may be a scheme that you or the company may have agreed upon.

On top of that, you get to save on further on the costs of equipment upgrades, continuous training, etc.

If what you have is a big company requiring a number of telephone operators, imagine the magnitude of savings that you will generate if you avail of a professional answering service company. Furthermore, imagine the absence of headaches from having to manage a large pool of telephone operators. I need not mention that you also eliminate the problem of having to deal with a labor union.

If you are a company, other than an answering services firm, I am sure that your business derives its income not from taking calls. You are probably in sales, other services, manufacturing or something else. The point is, you are better off devoting more energy to making more money, rather than having to answer every incoming call.
